Do not use any bleach or products containing bleach on your Merino. It will destroy the fabric.
Bleach is found in many different laundry products.
- Napisan contains bleach.
- Vanish contains bleach.
- EcoStore laundry products (except their wool and delicates powder) contain a natural bleach.
All reputable laundry products have a 0800 help line. Call them and ask if their product is suitable for wool before you use it. If you find other brands that are not suitable please let us know and we can add them to this list

Hey Baby New Zealand All Season Merino is great for kids from autumn right through to spring. It’s warm, lightweight, stretch knit to allow freedom of movement and so comfortable they’ll always want to keep it on!
The Kids Merino range includes a beanie, long and short sleeved singlets, and cuffed leggings.
The beanies use a 100% NZ 21 micron Superfine Merino rib, to provide maximum stretch and a snug fit. Our singlets and leggings are made from 100% NZ 18.50 micron Superfine Merino for the ideal blend of warmth and comfort.
